Our history

Let’s go back to 2015. Our head honcho, Lucy, had been back at work as a marketing executive for nearly a year after returning from maternity leave. But it wasn’t the same job she left and the reality of the family-work-life juggle was hitting home. There had to be a better way.

She knew that in order to build the life she wanted and to do the kind of work she really wanted to do, a change was needed.

So, she took a deep breath, handed in her notice and sold the car.

And in 2016 Luma was born.


Since then, we’ve grown from a solo outfit to a six-strong, full-service marketing agency with 12 retained clients.

And all the while we’ve stayed true to our values and our passion for placemaking by delivering brilliant marketing support for property professionals.
