Luma highly commended by Prolific North

We were highly commended in the small agency of the year category at this year’s Prolific North Champions Awards.

The Luma team received the accolade at Prolific North’s real-life, glitzy award ceremony, held at Lancashire cricket ground.  With the previous year being a virtual ceremony, the atmosphere was alive as everyone celebrated coming together in person and the dresses and drinks flowed.

The small agency of the year category was fiercely contested and was judged according to how the business reacted and delivered against its objectives and vision.  Results were strictly measured, and evidence was evaluated and scrutinised by judges to demonstrate a robust performance.

Attended by the region’s great and good in the creative and digital industries, the award recognised the work and outputs across our client base, including the creation of Rebelleon (shortlisted for B2B campaign of the year) and ongoing work for great clients such as Placemarque, Medlock and Truman.

Judges on the Prolific North panel praised us for our relationships and impressive work.  One judge commented: “After a whirlwind year for everyone, it's great to see an agency like Luma going from strength to strength.  Relationships clearly matter to the team and that shines through in the client comments. Well done!”

Another judge said: “A business that is thriving and meeting their objectives to do good work with good clients. They have achieved a lot in the last 12 months and undergone significant changes which they have adapted to very well.”

Luma founder, Lucy Lomas said: “This commendation has meaning as we were judged against our peers across the industry, and by a panel of experts in our field, which gives real significance to what we've produced.  Ultimately, it’s about our clients and the trust they have in us to deliver their work. Go team Luma!”

As the awards season continues, we’re also shortlisted in the forthcoming MPA awards for our branding and marketing work on Rebelleon so fingers crossed and watch this space…
