THE BRIEF:

A focused, six-month marketing campaign to reinforce this renowned law firm’s position in Manchester.

Shoosmiths is an international law firm that employs more than 1,700 people and has a turnover in excess of £167m.

Known for its incisive thinking across a broad spectrum of sectors and services, its real estate team plays an active part in the Manchester property network, but needed our help to reinforce its position and remind clients and collaborators of its expertise and influence.

WHAT WE DID

Our role was to support the firm’s in-house comms team on a very focused remit – the delivery of two one-off events - a roundtable discussion and a panel debate facilitated by its real estate team. With our extensive built environment expertise and network, we helped devise, shape and deliver a series of expert sessions under the theme “futureproofing our built environment”.

Facilitating a creative session with Shoosmiths partners, our copywriters crafted the overarching campaign and focused topic outlines for each event. In addition, we crafted in-depth briefing notes to help participants to prepare.

We reached out to our own network to bring the right people together and facilitated a green room session to aid preparation, so that valuable discussions could take place on the day(s).

Following the events, we prepared quality, concise blogs to widen the impact of the events through the company website.

A stream of complementary social media content was also created by the team to both promote the sessions and encourage engagement pre- and post-event.
