THE BRIEF:
Development of a comprehensive strategy for MIPIM 2020 to deliver a strong narrative with great events, influential speakers and a detailed communication plan.
WHAT WE DID:
In a very short space of time, dovetailing with the work being done by the LEP’s central marketing team, we put together a comprehensive stand events programme for Cheshire & Warrington at MIPIM 2020.
Taking into consideration the objectives of the delegation and its sponsors, we:
honed the campaign messaging and identified topics of conversation that supported the LEP’s “people, place and performance” message
put together 10 panel discussion events scheduled over three days
secured and briefed 20 influential speakers from a wide range of industries across Europe
created programme design and artwork
crafted an engaging social media campaign to encourage a broader audience to sign up.

Sadly, MIPIM 2020 didn’t take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, our work hasn’t gone to waste.
The relationships built and connections made took the LEP part of the way to delivering on the value promised to the delegation. The effort that went into creating the programme itself has been put to one side and will be used again when the time is right.
