THE BRIEF:

Commtech Asia, an independent M&E commissioning agent headquartered in Hong Kong, began to consider a refresh when they were becoming independent from their parent company.

In order to step into their independence with focus and confidence, they first wanted to really understand their employees’ hopes for the future and what it meant to them to be part of Commtech Asia.    

WHAT WE DID:

Over a 12-week program, we worked closely with the leadership team and our “champions” to engage Commtech Asia’s employees in a way that had never been achieved before. This was an essential first step in understanding the employees’ thoughts and feelings towards the company they work for.

We got the staff engaged with some lively internal communications and a group of champions to be our ears on the ground, and gathered their feedback through a range of platforms.

An employee survey was the primary focus, followed by an engagement campaign using newsletters, videos and online workshops.

We sense checked our findings with some clients and colleagues from around the world and built our findings into a fresh, new mission, vision and values.

We didn’t just leave it there though. We helped Commtech Asia to introduce the new identity to the employees, where it received a warm reception.

It’s up to Commtech Asia now to evolve their brand and step confidently into their new future, a journey we hope to be part of.
